Steven C. Swisher, 43, of 318 Bomboy Road, Unityville, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was employed at Strick Corp., Hughesville.
He was vice president and former president of the Lairdsville Volunteer Fire Co.
He was a 1974 graduate of Hughesville High School.
He was a member of Moreland Baptist Church.
Born August 19, 1956, in Muncy, he was a son of Cloyd and Geraldine Temple Swisher.
Surviving are his parents of Unityville; a daughter, Claudia, and granddaughter, Samantha, both of Stillwater; two brothers, Scott E. of Unityville and Randy E. of Benton; and two sisters, Elaine L. Stugart and Joan M. Ayres, both of Millville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Barry L.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McCarty Thomas, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with his pastor, the Rev. Carl G. Harris, officiating. Burial will be at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The family will provide the flowers.
